Giffnock's Christmas Village

Giffnock’s Christmas Village, our second annual festive celebration, took place on Saturday 8th November 2025 and was a fantastic success, attracting around 5,000 visitors throughout the day.

The event transformed a local car park into a bustling festive village, featuring a Christmas market with 24 local stalls, performances from local dance schools, live music, funfair rides, Santa’s Grotto, children’s crafts and roaming circus performers. Families also enjoyed a festive trail displayed in shop windows throughout Giffnock.

It was a great day, with a fantastic atmosphere and a steady stream of visitors enjoying the festivities. The event brought the community together, supported local businesses and provided a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to celebrate the festive season.

The event was proudly delivered by Giffnock BID, with support from £15,000 in funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
