Giffnock's Christmas Village

Giffnock’s first-ever Christmas Village, held on 9th November, transformed the town centre into a festive hub of activity and community spirit. This brand new event featured a Christmas market with 24 local stalls, stage performances from local dance schools, live music from buskers, funfair rides, Santa's grotto, kids crafts and roaming circus performers. Families took part in a Nutcracker Trail displayed in shop windows throughout the town, alongside Santa’s Grotto and festive craft activities for children. The event was a huge success, bringing residents and visitors together to celebrate the season and support the high street. It was proudly delivered by Giffnock BID with support from £20,000 in funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
